An Overview of our MISSION TRIP

Well, on our mission trip, we worked with the homeless. We mostly did this with the help of Steve Schooler, and Transitional Housing Inc. We worked at various THI sites, and learned about the Homeless in Wisconsin and specifically in Madison.

We built a sidewalk at the THI site called SafeHaven. We painted, cleaned, and served meals at the Drop-In shelter at Grace Episcopal Church in Madison. Rick and Sarah put in a kitchen floor at one house, and Rick installed a carpet at another house.

At the end of most days, we had a BIBLE STUDY. These were always very interesting and fun. Everyday we ate Breakfast and Supper at First UMC in Madison, but ate Lunch at our job site.

I enjoyed this Mission trip a lot, and would encourage anyone to go on next year's Mission Trip!
