The children sing songs of our faith, produce seasonal musicals and play color-coded bells.
The Trinity-Pilgrim UMC Children's choir is open to children ages 5 and up. On-going rehearsals are continuing on Wednesday evenings. 6:00 p.m. is when the younger children rehearse and the youth in grades second and older meet at 6:30 p.m. We are planning to have the children's choir participate in the Christmas program on December 14th, 2003 during the 10:00 a.m. worship service. In addition, we hope that the children will be participating in a joint worship service with Solomon Community Temple and St. James United Methodist Church in the spring (most likely on Ash Wednesday). Children are welcome to try the children's choir for a three or four week period to "give us a try" without having to make a long-term commitment. Fe'Dora Harris is the choir director and she can be reached by calling the church office (782-4408) and leaving a message.
